Unification Wars (aka - The Mothership)

Fuck that bounty hunter and the ship he rode in on

Every time I see that dude, I am just going to give him the finger. Maybe two, if he really gets on my nerves. Which he is. So, two fingers it is.

Made it to the moon of Alderaan. I think it was the moon of alderaan. It was a moon, I know that for sure.

Met up with Stacy, which I wasn’t expecting, but she’s been reliable in the past. (This is true, as far as Arlen knows. He has no clue she’s a Jedi master/diplomat murdering assassin.) Enroute I got with Stacy and we swapped some training. She trained me with melee weapons and I gave her some pointers on piloting a freighter. Not that I would trust her behind the stick of The Sucker Punch. (that’s the ship’s name, Matt. I forgot I had named it. It was 5 in the damn morning!)

While on the moon I picked up a new shield generator. Much stronger than the old one, so that’s one thing done. I’d like a bit more fire power, more speed and damn sure need better sensors, but one thing at a time. Got it installed for only 500 credits, which is a good deal. Much better than gambling with my own skills. Not that I am completely inept, but I don’t risk my ship. Not over a bit of pride.

So, we were waiting to pick someone up. I am still not sure who she is. Doesn’t matter I guess. As long as I am getting paid. Ran into a little trouble. We went to say hello to the trouble and who should come-a knockin? That god damn bounty hunter, again. Seriously, fuck that guy. We killed all his people and got a few new weapons to sell or keep. We keep doing this and we’ll be able to outfit our own army.

Much to my amazement, not only did we fight them off successfully, we made it out clean. Not a scratch. This, of course, means my ship will explode the second I leave the gravity well.

Dic's Account #3

Magically appeared at some Magician Church. Earned credits. Space Crab. Dressed in a uniform to get a hot chic’s attention. … forgot to get her number. Kidnapped some stupid kid who my partner threatened to shoot if he didn’t shut up. Returned to the Magic Church. Magician entertainment, he trips over his own shoelaces and he had no shoelaces on. Got Paid, less the health benefits. Looking to get paid more. I miss my almost girlfriend, whats-her-name.

Stacy's trip to the Jedi Temple

I went with Varis to the Jedi training grounds, or whatever they call them. I was a “guest” of the Jedi, so I was able to go where ever I could if I lied well enough.

Upon getting to the Jedi school, I was given an order from my boss to steal something, and then give it to him personally, which is what I was hoping for, so I stole the item (plan on bringing it back though).

Up to that point, I had an interesting time at the grounds. I saw Thodo having no fun playing war with other students. Got to see Varis train and grow in her skills. I was also told that I feel cold from a couple students. Not sure why, I would have thought I would feel room temperature.

Overall, an ok visit, not expecting my return trip to be met with smiles and good cheer.

Phil's adventure
The training begins

Invited to the Jedi academy, I have become one of them. Learning to tap into the Force I have gained control of the elusive Cocoa Nut and Red Ball. I feel pulled toward one area of the Force specifically, though I am yet unable to capture it’s essence. The trainers seem a fine combination of Jovial and Sarcastic, just my style. I enjoy learning with my fellows, the two hammer heads seem to have difficulty, but perhaps that is due to their physiology. Lo Tan continues to challenge me, but he is also the only one I have challenged. There is also a wookie…I must learn more of him, but I cannot trust him. He seems to take to this even more naturally than I. I find that…unnatural and unacceptable. Only the future will tell.

Thodo's Log, Entry 3
Jedi Training

The Jedi seem eager to train those who have the power to use “the force,” but at the same time they seem quite prideful. I was told that I was “lucky” and “privileged” to be training with them. I’m afraid I did not see the situation the same way they did.

It is true that these “Jedi” are powerful, they can do things I never imagined were possible; however, their hypocrisy and cruelty stand out more boldly than anything else I have seen. Our “masters” showed us discrimination and discouragement regularly. We were truly unlearned and unskilled, but their teaching methods were harsh. It is possible that we were their first true students and their teaching skills are lacking.

Nevertheless, this temple seems rather unwelcoming. The first night screeches from the forests below denied me a restful sleep and these “dormitories” seem more like prisons. My remembrance from home is denied me on a daily basis.

Has Stacy left us?

Phil went from the Royalist stronghold. Phil, (at no fault of his own) was shot multiple times. The rest arrived at the rebel strong hold without a scratch. The hatred has been kindled within…

In Addition

This is a strange time for Phil. Though swearing to the cause of order to bring peace to the galaxy, Phil is strangely drawn to these Jedi. Their power is undeniable, though the order among them is unrecognizable. Furthermore, in dreams he has seen firsthand the havoc that most certainly be unleashed.

Phil is traveling with them now, drawn ever more into their web. He has seen what can only be described as an aspirant school, perhaps even a prison. Perhaps his adventure will start here as well.

What Arlen said.

Arlen Log 2

We were leaving our meeting and royalist drop pods began raining from the sky. Heavy-armored troopers began engaging us. I found a four-wheeler nearby and Phil was able to pop the lock and hot wire it. I need to learn that skill. There’s no way it won’t come in handy. So, I jumped on and got us out of there. Almost. Then a drop pod landed on top of us and sent shrapnel through the engine of the four-wheeler and sent us flying. As we were picking ourselves up, we were engaged by two of the troopers. Keeping in line with most of my life and, again, proving that the gods hate me, my blaster malfunctioned and blew up. This is why I do not like leaving my ship.
I attempted to hide and sneak away and snuck right in to the other half of the royalist platoon. So, of course, I screamed and ran away, again. I dove in to a pile of trash and hid.
By some miracle and a lot of help from Jedi Master Fo, we escaped. I found a sewer grate and got us out of there and into the palace. We came up from the sewer in to the wine cellar. Of course, I grabbed a drink.
Turns out the royalist troopers were actually replicants in royalist armor.
We made our way to the throne room and found the king, along with all of his guards, dead. The king was pinned to his throne by an activated lightsaber with a red blade. We took the saber and left, looking for my ship.
We found the ship and escaped, picking up some stragglers on the way. I even got paid. 15k to take them to Corasceant. Deal.
